    Figure 3 (a) of the circuit shows how to use a voltage source converter with current limiting resistor to control white LED current, the advantage of this approach is you can choose a variety of voltage regulator, and simply connect one end of the regulator on the white LED; disadvantage  LED Module is brought about by the current limiting resistor power dissipation and white LED forward current is not be accurately controlled, so the efficiency is poor.
