For mobile phone main screen resolution of the display there are many, from 96x64 to 640x320. In some candy bar machine, common are 96x65, 101x80 display resolution; while folding machines, mostly 128x128 display; while 132x176, 176x220 and folding machine in many applications on the phone with a camera; 320x240 is used for 3G mobile phones.

This year, the first mobile phone with OLED main screen appears in China, this technology, including the driver IC, have been fully commercialized. More and more mobile phone manufacturers began to consider adopting OLED main display, some of which have this technology into new products. The near future, OLED mobile phone main display will be an  LED Module important one.

OLED driver and module design compared with the LCD module, self-luminous OLED display without backlight and LED driver circuit. A typical thickness of the OLED module take one to 1.5 mm and the thickness of the LCD module is 3 mm. Therefore, OLED module suitable for use in ultra-thin folding machine clamshell.

  LED Flexi Strip

A highly integrated OLED Driver / Controller IC contains the row, column drivers, DC-DC converter, timing control, display memory and MCU interface circuit for OLED module manufacturers, providing a mobile device for use in a concise program. Moreover, the software engineer can use the built-in graphics controller through the function of development time to save mobile phone (Figure 1).
