A new solution T8 Tube

Fortunately, there is a new solution for Linear Technology's LT3799, can solve all of these offline LED driver problem. The device is a Isolated with Active PFC Flyback LED Controller , specifically for the 90VAC ~ 265VAC universal input range designed to drive the LED . LT3799 in critical conduction mode operation minimizes the size of external transformer . It is ideally suited for driving power to hundreds of watts from a variety of 4W LED applications . Up to 20W LED driver circuit as a whole in Figure 2. This particular circuit can TRIAC dimming , and can 90VAC ~ 265VAC universal input range of LED current up to 1A , while achieving over 86 % efficiency ( see Figure 3 ) . Slight change of external components , this circuit can be further optimized to at 120VAC, 240VAC or 377VAC or common AC input almost any circumstances.
