 electromagnetic compatibility requirements are very high , a good power supply design must be taken into account these factors , because the power supply in the entire luminaire like the role as important as the human heart . LED Downlight   

LED power level due to the restrictions , usually to simultaneously drive multiple LED brightness to meet the demand , and therefore need special driver circuit to illuminate the LED. Below is a brief LED drive current mainstream of several ways :

 

1 , RC Buck

 

In exchange the use of capacitive impedance to limit the input current to the LED DC level to gain power . This drive is simple , low cost , but the input non-isolated solutions , there are security risks . And the conversion efficiency is very low , constant current control can not be done .

 

2 , isolated flyback circuit

LED Strip 

Use flyback circuit through the transformer secondary side DC level generated , then this level through the optocoupler feedback to the primary side of the ripple , which self-excitation stability. Identification of such circuits meet the safety requirements, and the output current precision is better, higher conversion efficiency . However, due to the need optocoupler and secondary constant current control circuit , causing the system complex , bulky and costly. Has been gradually replaced by the primary program .  GU10
