 Cirrus Logic allegedly acquired more than 200 dimmers, and developed a set of compatibility  MR16 tests to measure CS161X products on the performance of existing solutions . The dimmer compatibility tests including 120V and 230V product testing , as well as covering a single light bulb 5-10 parallel multi-lamp configurations , the main measure four key parameters to determine the dimming compatibility :

1 ) Function ;

2 ) steady state of flicker ;

3 ) smooth dimming ;

LED Flexi

4 ) dimming range ( max - min ) . Cirrus Logic side said that compared to the LED controller compatibility with industry averages only 50 % of the CS161X throughout the test performance close to perfection , reaching 98% of compatibility , even the closest competing solution , compatibility only reached 71% .
